SFS ‘Sketchaday’ Competition

Scrapbooking From Scratch are having a ‘ Sketch a day’ Competition for the month of September, and so far I have been able to play every day (except I haven’t done todays yet)

1st Sept- extra criteria to use string

2nd Sept sketch- use either Scrap The Girls criteria or White with 1..I used Scrap the Girls Criteria to create this layout with paperclips!

3rd Sept Sketch- we had to use a STUCK?! sketch

4th Sept sketch- was just a simple sketch with no added criteria…and here is my take on it!

i am really enjoying getting layouts done, and hope to continued to be inspired this month!

SEPTEMBER Challenges begin

So why not head over to Anna’s Craft Cupboard and have a go at the sketch i created for you this month….a multiphoto one based on this layout

Scrap The Boys also has their September challenge up….and it is a goodie.

This month your challenge is to use household/family ephemera on your layouts. Now this can be anything from clothing labels, toy packaging, gift cards or cards from birthdays, ticket stubs etc....

This is my layout, I have used postage stamps and Collection Ephemera

Savvy Cyber Crop

 

I have been trying for days to load into the gallery at Savvy, but I cannot get my pictures to load. It keep coming up with FATAL ERROR.

This is my take on Sara’s challenge- 2 photos/doily/paint

here is my take on kerryn’s puzzle piece challenge….with all the elements that she wanted (including A Lil’ Somethin’)

And my take on the Page Maps sketch that Anthea put up. Love the way this turned out…I have used A Lil’ Somethin’ flowers and a WOW chipboard frame for my title

Here is a close up of my WOW frame. I have just coloured it in black with a Sharpie and stuck my alpha stickers to it!

And finally, this is my take on the BLIND SCRAP that Sar hosted. I know that my title is in the wrong spot, but I couldn’t get it to go where t was meant to.

i have used some decorative lock and keys from WOW…and have altered them with Glimmermist in CINDER

A couple of challenges!

yep, I have been playing along with a few challenge sites, and i am excited to share these layouts with you.

First cab off the rank is the A2Z Scraplets challenge sketch. I won some chip pieces a while ago in their ‘TITLE CHALLENGE’ on facebook, and the lovely people at A2Z made my suggestions into real chippie pieces. CUTE HUH?

I also played along with STUCK?! this month with one of their birthday sketches. This cute snow picture was taken last year in winter. I have used some A Lil’ Somethin’s and some Purple Pumpkin embellies.

So there you go, been scrapping up a storm lately.. and totaly LOVING IT!

Some more challenges….OMG.. what is happening to me!!!

So, if you read my last few posts, you will see that I have discovered Scrapbooking from Scratch, and I am really enjoying doing their challenges.

I have managed to do their puzzle challenge: 3 squares, 6 circles, 3 strips, and 2 stars.

And then there was the blind sketch… well i have never professed to be any good at BLIND SCRAPPING.. as Sarah Ward can attest to…LMAO…but these instructions where easy to follow.

Here I have used A Lil’ Somethin’ embellies in my cluster.

We were allowed to add a few bits an bobs to make the layout our own. I put pins in my ribbon
