Plans for the weekend

Well I know it is a bit late, but our weekend plans have kept me that busy that this is the first time I've had a chance to BLOG.

Saturday- Music Tree for the boys, Angus at 9.30am and Charlie at 10.10am. Then I had a Drs appointment at 12pm. I had a Card Party Plan at 2pm and sold over $700 worth of cards. Didnt get home til after 4.30pm. I processed my order which took over 2 hours to do, and then all we could here was the DOOF DOOF from the MS Fest in the city

Sunday- we are planning on taking the kids to Kids Paradise for a bit of family time. Maybe have BBQ this afternoon. I would like to spend some QT with my kids

Some recent Layout

Here is a Layout I did for a CC with Crafting in Style where you did a colour survey to see what colour you were. I was GREEN luckily enough.

This LO is one for Mystical Scrapbooks, it was a colour challenge to use Mint, turquoise and white. I have been wanting to scrap this picture for a while now.

This Lo is one I did for me for a change. I loved using this picture as we don't tend to have many family pictures of us all together

I'm an Artist with a New Challenge Blog

How exciting, My sister Susan has started up a new challenge blog called 'White with 1". It is such a cool concept. Each month you will be required to create a layout using white as your dominent colour, one other colour and one other requirement (embellishment, product, theme etc). There is a monthly prize dontaed by the sites sponsor Mystical Scrapbooks of $20.

So, how cool is this? Get on to the site and check it out

Recent pages

Here are a few recent Layouts

This one is for the Mystical Scrapbooks CC this past weekend, the challegen was to handmake hearts

This Layout is 1 that I have made using the product sent to me in the DT kit from Mystical

This Layout it one that I posted as a challenge, to use green and pink and the word Love in the title, as well as demonstrate a technique that you love...Mine was to use brads and bling circles to create movement on your page

Motivation to scrap

It is such an individual thing I suppose. I would like to think that I wouldnt need motivation to scrap and that the need to scrap would over-ride any other feelings....This is the case to date.

I suppose what really inspires me to scrap is the memories of photos. I love the journalling aspect of scrapbooking. Even though at times it is hard to find the right words to put down on papers. I think that is my main point of inspiration...

I also loves the photos. I usually scrap my children and my neice, nephew and friend's children. I love doing kids, but I am getting more into scrapping about me. I think it is important for the future generations to know 'who is it that does all of this stuff?'. Must admit I dont scrap scenery, never really been anywhere worth scrapping.
