More talent than air..

… in that room at the Savvy Delights Retreat. I cannot believe the awesomeness of the girls and their work. We really do have some severe talent in Australia, and here are a few layouts that i got some of the girls to do for me while I was there.

First talented Cab-off-the-rank is Kellie Daley. She made this terrific layout for me..I LOVE IT!

Second layout was done by Tess Pretty. Love the way she used her embellishments and that white mist is divine.

This next layout was done by Donna White. She got this picture of me in a photo swap and I LOVE it… so hilarious

IMG_9945

This next layout was another photo swap with Renee Iveson. She is the master of shabby chic designs, and I love what she did with this layout…terrific

IMG_9922

finally, I got Sara Noendeng to do this layout for me for my 52 week album, as she is the master of 8.5x11 layouts. THANKS Sara

Catching up from the Retreat

I seem to have been home from the Savvy Delights Retreat for ages, and yet I haven’t had a chance to update my blog and share some of the layouts I created whilst I was there.

So here are a few that I can share with you. Some were for challenges set at the retreat and others are just because.

this was for a snap photo swap I did for Donna. She scrapped a picture for me and i did this one for her. I used a WOW chipboard flourish frame.

This layout was done for Anne Patterson, she received a layout by me for the Auction. I have used WOW chipboard butterflies and title.

IMG_9893IMG_9895

This was for a colour challenge using black, white and one other colour, along with black and white bella embellishment stickers

IMG_9924IMG_9923

This was for a colour challenge: red, blue and green. I have used a WOW  title piece, and played around with some alcohol inks on the acetate snowflakes…fun!

IMG_9927IMG_9926

this is my version on the sketch that Susan provided at the retreat

IMG_9929IMG_9928

this is an example layout for a sketch that I put up as a challenge. I have used WOW chipboard birds and title on this layout

IMG_9932IMG_9930

This is another sketch layout that I provided for the retreat, with an extra criteria of making your own embellishment for the layout

IMG_9934IMG_9933

This layout was done with a retreat challenge kit that I received in my goodie bag. I got some Sass Lass papers and a cute Ruby Rock-it felt frame. I have used a WOW title again

IMG_9938IMG_9937

This layout was just because.

IMG_9940IMG_9939

And another one just for fun

IMG_9942IMG_9941

So there you have it…a few of the layouts I created whilst away in NSW. Can’t wait for next year!

WOW…my first blog post

I have been super busy with the Savvy delights retreat, then a brief family break in Hobart, and have only just managed to get back onto the computer. To add to that, DH has decided to dismantle his computer for the time being, and I use his large memory to store my editing program on as this little netbook wouldn’t cope so well. So once I have haccess to that again, you will be bombarded with layout upon layout of new creations.

in the mean time…….

In case you missed my first ever blog post on ‘Words or Whatever WOW’, I thought I had best share my layout here.

head over to the WOW blog to see how I created that effect on my title and chipboard piece.
