WHAT IS OLD IS NEW -September Kits

The new kits at What Is Old Is New have been revealed and I got to play with this delightful BOY kit called Summer Seas. It is a great mix of fresh Aqua and Oranges. I managed to get 4 layouts and a Card out of the kits..with paper to spare!!!!

Last layouts for the month

here is my final 2 layouts for the month.

This one is for "BLACK WITH 2". There criteria this month was black, aua and yellow, with hand cut embellishments and flourishes. Here is my take, with a gorgeous photo of my sister Susan and Angus on his Birthday!

This is a layout I did for "What's Ad About", but I think I entered it too late...OH WELL!

A swap and a few....just a few!

I hosted this Swap at Artistic Document for Cards and Tickets...

I am so glad I hosted it as I got to see the packs before anyone else.

Here is a sample of the packs that I sent out to the girls today!

Artistic Document are having their August Cybercrop, and the theme is Recycle, Re-use, and Reduce. We were challenged to take an old layout and make a new one with it.

Here is what I came up with and just love how it turned out

And this is the original Layout...OMG..I am a little embarrassed to show it, but it was over 4 years ago and it is nice to see how far we have come (or so I will keep telling myself)

This is an OTP I did using a Prima Package to create a magnetic notepad.

Love how this turned out too, going to be giving it to my Day Carer

This layout was made using 4 household/non scrapping items

-Crochet doily, twine, book paged, and cardboard

Over at Bon's Scraps, I did this layout for the 'Write Now' challenge. We had to document a 'first'. So I decided to journal about Charlie's first time on a farm and first encounter with a cow!

This is what I did with the RoadMaps sketch and combined with the 'Out of the Hat' criteria of 3x circles, bling on a boy layout and staples...Love how it turned out

Scrapbook Savvy this month have the Cutest Sketch

and I just had to scrap this cute picture of our new baby Barkley!!!

Over at The Scrapbooks Establishment, I create this card for the CC

based on the Seasonal Colours of Autumn

And this layout is for the CC there too and the criteria was to have 3 colours, 3 photos and journalling around the edge of the layout. (photos of Angus Curtesy of Kayla Renee)

These next 2 layouts are Enchanted Scrapbooking

So I created this one for Tiff's challenge for the CC :
to use a Rainbow, and another element (out of a list) and I chose flowers...shock horror I know!
