have a little bit to share

….since moving my room back down into the house, it really has given me the boost I need to get scrapping. I also had a few GF’s over on Friday night which got the juices flowing again too.

 

Here is what I created with some scrap papers and some WOW chipboard pieces.

Then I also did this layout for Peta. She gave me this picture of her and her friend Carol, and asked me to scrap it for her. I used my products in my Anna’s craft Cupboard DT kit to create this layout for her.

I made these 2 flowers…one out of dictionary paper, and the other out of a thin ribbon that I scrunched and glued in a spiral.

I was asked by the lovely Sandra to do a few things for the WOW (Word or Whatever) chipboard company. I had to think long and hard about it, as I really have a lot on my plate as far as design teams go, and I also have been picking up a lot of extra shifts at work. Not to mention Susan and my new venture with A Lil’ Somethin’ …I really am working my fingers to the bone. But it got me thinking…the more you do..the more you can do.

So after a lot of thought and a lot of internal struggle, I said YES….really hope I haven’t bitten off more than I can chew. Another added bonus of being on the team is that i get to design some chippie pieces…YAY!.

So anyways.. here are a couple of layout I have created with the WOW products so far.

This layout I have used a WOW title, decorative oval frame, butterfly and leaves

On this layout I have used a decorative tree and picket fence border.

And finally, in this layout I have used a decorative tree and birds pack, with a We Are Family title

I think I am going to really enjoy being on this team!

Catching up----52 week album

I seem to be getting a tad behind with this 52 week album. I have only managed to get up to week 31…and what are we in now… week 35 I think…OMG…I am a whole month behind

AUGUST---- Scrap the Boys Challenge

I just adore the picture inspiration for the Scrap The Boys this month. Such a delightful colour combination and a cute and fun picture.

Here is my layout (taken inspiration from the colours mainly)

I have used some glimmerglaze behind the papers and photos, just for something a little different, and have used a mixture of new and old embellies and papers.

Things you create when you are with your BFF

I spent the day yesterday up the river with my BFF Lynn. She and i don’t get together all that often, but when we do I get my mojo on.

I took the scraps from my Anna’s Craft Cupboard DT kit and played around with some different styles. here is what I came up with, a concoction of photos and papers.

Then I decided to have a play around with some ink pads and paint…OMG..I am actually liking this messy stuff! Who would have thought?

so….as you probably noticed.. they are both quite different from my usual style… but i love them!

Paint..who said I use paint??

I never use paint, cos it takes so long to dry and is MESSY…I dont do messy!

Well.. that was until i discovered my ‘new’ favourite technique…hehe

Here are a couple of layouts showing off this technique with my DT kit from Anna’s Craft Cupboard…

This layout is done using the Cosmo Cricket Odds and Ends range, and a few other bits and pieces including the Crafter’s Workshop template for misting…and my new paint technique

And this next layout if for my friend Sandra, a picture of her son Tom, using the new Authentique papers and some A Lil’ Somthin’s…and the new paint technique again

Playing around with some girly stuff..

…doesn’t happen very often, but i do like to give it a crack every now and again. I never profess to be any good at the feminine form in scrapping, but I do love all the pretties that you can find in the scrapping world.

I received my DT kit from Anna’s Craft Cupboard, and I received some gorgeous Sassafras Lass paper and stickers that yelled out ‘girly’ to me.. here is what I did with them

This is my gorgeous friend Lisa’s little girl, and I really wanted to make a pretty layout with this cute picture, lots of flowers and butterflies

And then for this one of my sister Susan and I, I used lots of glimmermist and glimmerglaze…turned out well I thought

You can see the glimmerglase effect on the chipboard pieces which i coloured in black first, and I also used the glaze on the prima centres
