absolutely love the way the Halloween layout turned out!
Having amazing DT kits from Anna’s Craft Cupboard really enables me to get my creative MOJO flowing. I love all the things she sends, and cannot wait month by month to undo that pizza box when it arrives.
this month I have had the chance to play with some of the NEW Echo Park ‘Times and Seasons’.
Check out these gorgeous girls..surely you recognise those faces!
I misted the background with a mixture of Mr Huey’s Cameo, and glimmermist Tomato Cherise, and I also altered the flowers to match
And for this layout I have used Mr Huey’s Heirloom
Can you tell I love misting atm, and using doilies as a mask..LOL!
I have totally re-used an idea here that I saw on Karen Williams blog. She got her Daughter to do some writing and drawing on a piece of cardstock and did a layout based around that. LOVE IT!
I just HAD to get my boys to do the same.
Here is Angus’ version. He is only just starting to write his name legible, and that is the only word he knows how to write.
I have used a piece of WOW chipboard here, and used several layered of different green Mr Heuy’s and Glimmermist
This I Charlie’s version. He has been writing his name for a while now, and can write loads of word…but he is definately not the best drawer.
I have used several pieces of A Lil’ Somethin’ and a WOW chipboard flourish!
So don’t you think it is the just most fabulous idea…Maybe you could get your kidlets to do a background Cardstock for your creation! It wouldnt matter if they cant write, how cute would a 2yr old scribble be!

I have done 2 layouts and a set of cards
For this layouts I used circles as a mask, and spritz and splattered Mr Huey’s all over the background cardstock
For this layout, I used a negative from the heart punch as a mask and randomly inked hearts on the cardstock, then sewed a row of hearts to continue the theme
I never claim to be a card maker, but when you get given Xmas paper it is the perfect opportunity to practice making a few to give to the rellies!
