A Day at the Seaport and some work from the weekend

Yesterday mum Mum rang and said "it's a beautiful day...let's head to the Seaport for an ice-cream with the boys", and of course the answer is always going to be YES when ice-cream is involved. So I took a few pics of the event.

Here is Mum with the boys walking back from the coffee shop

And I just love this picture of Charlie hanging off the fencing along the walkway

Now onto some scrapping. This Layout is using the sketch provided by A Page from my Sketchbook, and these pictures are of Sara and I at the Mystical Scrapbook Retreat last October.

This is a Layout created for the Challenge set by Cookie over at the Mystical Scrapbook Cyber Crop this weekend. The criteria were: photo involving water, and an element of water showcased on the page...I chose to cut my paper into a wave form.

And finally, this layout was created during the Speed Scrap Challenge for the Cyber Crop. Sara provided us with a sketch, and we had to inculde a sumery photo and brad/buttons or bling. Here is the end result.

Had a wonderful "ME" day so far today. The boys have been in care since 10am and I zoomed off to town with BFF for some coffee and window shopping. It was nice just to get away and spend a bit of frivalous time doing 'nothing'...
Hope you all have a wonderful day....and remember I will be announcing the winner of the pack soon, so last chances to leave a comment to go into the draw for it.

Cookie has set a watery themed challenge, I am really hoping to get to, as I have loads of beach photos to scrap.
