Feminine Touch??

Trying to do vintagey layouts is a challenge for me. I find myself wondering what to put on a page to embellish them other than flowers. I have done a couple that I can share, please let me know what else I could add??? Share with me what you put on a vintage layout??

Cyber Cropping

…at Scrapbook Savvy, hand-making a things for your layouts!

Renee challenged us to hand-make a banner for a layout. I used one of the ‘almost’ released A Lil’ Somthin’  banner in the polkadot materials.

Anthea challenges us to make different types of handmade flowers, and put 5 on our layouts

Sara’s challenge  was to make a mask for background misting out of something. I have used an alpha sheet, and some punched cirlces

The unfortunate thing is, I am having trouble loading to the savvy Gallery, so I am hoping this link will work

Finally…

posting some more of my Anna’s craft Cupboard DT layouts for June. This new computer, new studio and school holidays has really taken it’s toll on my blog posting. Please forgive my slackness.

ECHO PARK Splash papers are cute and colourful, with great designs for beach, pool and summer themes. This is done using a painted background…

here is another one with SPLASH using some fine misting as a background, and some cute little flowers cut out of the patterned paper

This layout is done using the New MME ‘American made’ papers, which go perfectly with the A Lil’ Somethin’ embellies  Susan and I have been making.

there is a couple more layouts in progress.. and I have Emma and Diana coming over tonight, so I will also take some pictures of the studio, and share over the weekend!

RED and BLUE…love it

great colour combination for boys don’t you think? Well MME has hit the nail on the head with their new line ‘American Made’. Here is a layout I have done for my DT at Anna’s Craft Cupboard.

I did a lot of misting and used up some random letters.

and made a little ‘shaggy’ flower from a few circle punches

Get stuck right in!

Well i cant help getting stuck in when I get sent the most amazing DT kits ever….it is hard not to be inspired and get creating straight away!.

Anna’s Craft Cupboard sent me the most amazing lines this month. Here are just a few layout i have managed in between work this week.

First off is the new JILLIBEAN SOUP range “Watermelon Gaspacho”, great summery colours and cute patterns.

This layout is made using the new MME range “American Made”, love the colours in this range. Thought I might struggle with the ‘AMERICAN-NESS’ but it was actually cute neutral for the most part.

I also was sent the Crate paper ‘Portrait Collection’..so vintage and so gorgeous. The colours are fabulous, and they go so well with sepia photos.

I added in some Collections elements too.

 

Anna also sent me some of the new Echo Park SPLASH range, so that will be coming up soon to a blog near you…LMAO!

It’s June-----Happy Winter

My favourite season is here!!!!!!!!!! The colder the better as far as I am concerned.Love to rug up and get cosy!

Like the effect of misting through a doily…looks cool I think

This is a bit more distressed…and a bit more vintage, cos the papers lend themselves to it!

And even though I struggled doing a Masculine layout with the papers, I think I pulled it off with this one!
