End of the month..a few more challenges down

The End of the month usually sees me pumping at the last few challenges that take my fancy, and August is no exception.

And I also managed to the Savvy ABC challenge done. Using the letter ‘B’ with buttons and bling

 

And finally, my example for the CYBERCROP challenge over at Enchanted Scrapbooking. I set the challenge to use your oldest scrapbook product in a new and creative way

Lisa's Challenge;
Using the letters NEW - N can be netting, numbers, etc E for Embellishment, edged border etc and W for white, etc....and in addition try and use one of your NEWEST scrapping products in addition.....

Here I have used a pack that I received from Sherry Mendoza, and have N=numbers, E=eyelets and W=wings

Vicki's Challenge;
scraplift this layout and use a NEW PRODUCT that they have never used before on the layout!

Vicki chose my layout below as the one to SCRAPLIFT.

Tracey's Challenge;
Create a layout that is about a "New Beginning" - this could be a recent move, a birth, a wedding ...... something in your life that you have just started or have had happen. Extra criteria, use the word new on your layout somewhere and a new technique that you haven't used before.

CHALLENGES Galore!

 

Now you can see what happens at a retreat when you are uninterrupted from your creative mojo, and can scrap when you like, for as long as you like.

I managed to get 15 layouts done in the 3 days. I can share some now, but some will have to wait til the next few months when I can reveal them fro CT/DT commitments.

What an AWESOME weekend!

 

OMG… I have had the most fabulous weekend. Creating amongst talent beyond my wildest dreams, meeting incredibly gorgeous people, and making so many new friends.

My new Friend Lisa Warren and I hit it off straight away..LOVE YOU!

I sat next to the talented Kim Arnold for the weekend..totally absorbing every bit of MOJO she sent my way!

Did a class taken by the talented Anthea Peterson

Watched the amazing Kerryn Fry at work…totally love your style Kerryn

Got Picked up from the Airport and made feel totally welcome by the delightful Belinda Howlett

Fell in love the cute little “Princess Del” aka Danielle Sheehan

Caught Up with my buddy Sara Noendeng

Met the talented PJ

 

Got totally corrupted (not that I needed encouragement) by the cheeky Donna White

Got cosy with the sweet sweet Julz

And of course played up to the fabulous Sarah Ward

And finally ….after only a total of 10 hours sleep for the weekend..went and stayed the night with the sugary sweet, totally terrific Tiff Sawyer…thanks HUNNY BUN!

Thanks girls for a terrific weekend, and apologies to the girls that I havent mentioned, but there were just so many gorgeous girls, I am having trouble mentioning everyone

Yep..the second challenge for the month is up at Scrap The Boys. This month we were given a cute little pack of flowers, charms, and ribbon from My 2 Angels to play with.

Enchanted August kit...YUMMY

The main kit at Enchanted Scrapbooking is called Peacock Fairy Fancy, and features the colours TEAL, LIME, and PURPLE.....now those who know me know I am not a fan of purple...but this is just divine!

Here is what I produced with it. the Rubons are just too cute, and love the mesh

And here is my PURPLE EXTRAVAGANZA...just love how it turned out!

I loved the first range of Echo Park papers, and was so excited to see the 'Walk in the Park' range in my Anna's Craft Cupboard DT kit. The colours are terrific, and the patterns are too cute
