Love is in the Air!

Well it is on this layout. February is the month of love, so why not celebrate the ones you love the most.

I did this layout from a challenge set at Enchanted Scrapbooks to 'split' a photo. The one of the godparents holding the kids has been split, and I have put the one of DH and I in the middle.

Last minute Challenges

Because February is the short month, I haven'tfelt like I have had much to time do layouts for challenges around the traps after my DT and CT work. But today I have managed to do a couple that I can share with you.

Sketchy at Savvy

This is the Februrary sketch at Savvy, and I just loved it.

Playing with Paint

Not a HUGE fan of paint usually. I find it messy and frustrating, and just plain tooo long to dry!

But....in saying that, I love the effect you can get from it. Enchanted Scrapbooking Cyber crop this past weekend had a few challenges involving paint, so I figured I give it a go!

The Challenge this month at Let's Get Shabby is to use a love letter or note as a part of their Valentines challenge!.

Here is my take on that, I have used a card that Charlie wrote in when he gave me some flowers!

Guest DT at 'Out of the Hat' challenge site

The Challenge this month is to use :

a butterfly somewhere, buttons and bows, and a 4 word title

here is my example layout...and I love it, got to use a heap of old stash out of my scraps, a few swap items, and the photo looks amazing

Another few little shares

This is another layout I did using the DT kit from Anna's Craft Cupboard and the paper range 'Skys the limit' from My Little Shoebox. I tried a different inking technique using circular mesh as a mask...looks quite cool actually

This layout is for Enchanted Scrapbooking and their 'We're Back' challenges. Love this colour combination and love these pictures of my family making Sushi!

A couple of Creations for the weekend

This layout is one from my DT kit at Anna's Craft Cupboard using the My Little Shoebox papers from the 'Skys the Limit' range, collection chipboard bird, and using the inking effect I saw Renee Dowling use recently on her blog

And this layout is one I have done for Enchanted Scrapbooking

using a colour combination of green, blue, white and green
